Classes meet once a week and run for 6-8 weeks

The Liberation School offers courses in three general areas: introductory, skill development, and study groups. Introductory courses, such as Our Bodies, Our Selves or What is Women’s Liberation?, are for women who are new to feminism; skills courses focus on practical life experiences that all women should have the option to learn, for example Prepared Childbirth, Conversational Spanish, Self Defense, or GED; while Study Groups are an academic forum for intelligent learning and discussion around topics such as the Middle East, or Novels By & About Women.
We in the Liberation School work group have been thrilled by the attendance! Since 1971 there has been incredible energy and interest in the School and hundreds of women have attended. Come join the other amazing women of Chicago and take control of your education!
